Our Story

Big Forest began with a singular objective: to deal with Big Data. We formed a hypothesis based on Artificial Life models, that information could be enabled to grow by itself, into a familiar organic structure. Experiments proved the simplest instructions worked best, the 'rules of the tree.' Now we can take the massive, chaotic stream of global data and turn it into something human, intuitive, and useful. What started as an experimental visualization project has grown into an internationally patented platform.
